Have you taken an art class before and want to keep the momentum going? Let’s Practice! Open Studio is a non-directed, supportive space designed for artists of all levels to continue exploring, creating, and growing. Whether you’re looking to hone a specific skill, try out new materials, gain a fresh perspective, or simply carve out time to finish independent projects, this open studio offers the freedom and encouragement to do just that.
Beginners are welcome. Bring along an idea, and I will help you get the materials in place to make your creative vision come to life!
Monday Evening (2 hours) – First Session September 14th
6:00 – 8:00pm @ Rapid Photo Studio (434 Parliament Street)
Friday Midday (3 hours) – First Session September 11th
12:00 – 3:00pm @ Mangled Studios (1297 Gerrard Street East)
Materials Provided or Bring Your Own from home for a reduced price
In-house media exploration includes:
- Pencil
- Acrylic
- Oil Pastels
- Watercolours
- Mixed Media

Lessons limited to 8 students per Studio.
Students may sign up at any time and no prior knowledge is necessary!
Students may enrol in flexible class packages of 5 or 10 sessions, allowing them to commit at their own pace while maintaining consistency in learning.
Classes are recommended to be taken on a weekly basis to support steady progress and skill development. Scheduling is designed to accommodate busy lifestyles. If a change is needed, classes may be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice at no additional cost.
