Description
For students ages 5+ hosted at The Riverdale Hive. Instructed by Dylon Feyen.
Artists will develop their creative initiative based on their personal interests. They will explore their community and their world through the lens of an artist, learning the principles of art while also building their scientific understandings of their physical world like an engineer.
Lesson Examples:
– Painting and Observations (Acrylic and Mixed Media)
– Sculpture (Air dry clays and mixed media)
– Art Skills (Drawing, Colours, Perspective, Graphics, and Art Principles)
– Portfolio Building (Preparing for competitive Institutions)
– Developing Creative Initiative (Learn how to start your own projects)
Lessons limited to 6 students per instructor
8:30 – 9:00 am : Student Drop off
9:00 – 9:30 am : Drawing warm-up
9:30 – 11:30 am : Morning Activity
11:30 – 12:00 pm : Lunch break (Pack a healthy peanut free lunch, you may also include a snack to have during activities)
12:00 – 1:00 pm : Park or Gallery visit
1:00 – 3:00 pm : Afternoon Activity
3:00 – 3:30 pm : Free create & Cleanup
3:30 – 4:00 pm : Student Pick up

Camps limited to 10 students in the studio.
A second Instructor will assist with camps of 6 students or more.
Camps require a minimum of 2 students to run and may be be rescheduled in the event of low attendance.
